Helllooo there people on the web.  It is here, Yesss! it's true I finally am able to complete my yearly journal.  Also as a special treat, I shall be doing a feature of 30 deviations.  I am sorry that I could not do this feature and journal earlier but due to set backs last year by not using this laptop for a month and the laptop to be seemingly not working for approximately 3 or more weeks I had major set backs.  I still have many more photos that I haven't uploaded yet.  
    The year of 2012 had many ups and downs.  It was the year of the Summer Olympics. ([link])  Which were in my opinion AWESOME.  Martial arts anyone? ([link])  Also there were many other positive events world wide. (i.e. [link])  But even with all of these positive events there were many negatives too.  If you watched the news it seemed as though every day someone died.  A young boy died from the flu in the city, the shooting at Sandy Hook elementary, and other events and shootings as well.  Don't forget the damage done by Hurricane Sandy too. ([link])  But I won't let these things get me down because through it all, good or bad, I believe that eventually everything will turn out positively, that everything will eventually be set right.  
    This has been a very interesting year for me.  At the beginning of the year I was going through one of the warmest winters that I've had yet.  Also during that time I was still at my beginning stages of photography.  I was still taking photos with my phone then.  But with encouragement from my family I decided to start using a digital camera and now recently I have gotten an even newer camera, a Canon PowerShot SX160 IS.  This camera is excellent.  It can zoom up to 16x and has many built in effects like fish eye.  My drawing skills reached a peak in the fall and now I am drawing at a much better level than I had before. ()  I am so surprised at the progress that I have made and I am so grateful to God for protecting my family and I over this past year.  I hope that this year went well for you too, fellow artists and friends.  
    Now, for the DOUBLE feature.  First with a flurry of colors and festivities is the holidays of 2012 feature!  Yay!  Please, please hold the applause.  This is a feature of  different holiday artworks made in the year 2012.  After that will be a feature different from all of my previous ones, I present you with the Uniqueness feature.  Over this year I have gathered many artworks and added them to my collection Unique Art and now I will be giving these fine artists the feature that they deserve.  Without further adieu here is the
